Forecasting The Future Of 10 WWE Stars In Their 40s 1

1. The Undertaker

Age: 49
There is nobody on this list that is more part time than him. He’s earned that right, though. The Undertaker is one of the best Superstars in WWE history that worked a heavy full time schedule for about 15 years straight before becoming a part timer that usually just showed up for WrestleMania season in the last five years.
We don’t know if he’s going to have one more match. After losing to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30 to end his WrestleMania winning streak at 21-1 it wouldn’t surprise us if he retired. He had a bad concussion in the match, so we wonder why risk it? There’s no reason for him to put his body on the line one more time when he’s probably got enough money in the bank to support his kids, his future grandkids and generations beyond that.
The reason he might wrestle one more match (or two more) is because fans want to see him win his last match at WrestleMania. Whether it’s a rematch against Lesnar (unlikely), a dream match against Sting (possible) or somebody else, we want to see him with his hand raised one more time before he says goodbye.
When he is retired for good he might make public appearances for WWE. Whenever he goes into the Hall of Fame it will be one of the biggest inductions ever just because he might be the most respected wrestler in history. A job as a backstage agent seems possible, but unlikely that he would want to do it.
He could probably do anything he wanted to in WWE although after over 20 years of intense travel it seems very possible that he may be content to stay at home with his family and enjoy his life. He’s earned it. That’s for sure.
