Forecasting The Future Of 10 WWE Stars In Their 40s

2. Kane

Age: 47
Kane is the oldest full timer in WWE at 47. He’s been a part of the company for nearly 20 years and is also one of the most durable wrestlers that WWE has ever had. He’s turned heel/face so many times that we’ve lost track, but obviously WWE considers him to be extremely valuable since he was part of main event matches for the last two PPVs.
When it comes to most loyal employees ever, he has to be near the top. Kane has been somebody that Vince McMahon has counted on for so long. He’s also a really good actor because even though they’ve had him do some stupid storylines over the years he’s been able to pull them off. Some of his best work took place around 2010 when he was a heel on Smackdown without the mask on. He was as scary as ever in those days.
He has said in interviews that he’s going to wrestle as long as he can. Since he’s healthy and still being used prominently it makes sense for him to want to do that. Do it as long as you can and as long as the company believes in you. Why not? His matches are rarely great, but he’s certainly good enough in the ring.
Kane is a WWE lifer. He’ll probably retire within the next three years. If he wants to keep working for WWE after that then he likely will, but if he moved on it would certainly be understandable too. After all those years on the road he definitely deserves a break.
