15 WWE Stars Who Loved To Be Hated 11

11. Randy Orton

Randy Orton is perhaps the top fully active heel in the business at the moment, even if his character goes through stages of staleness. Orton has work to do still to reinvent himself, but when at the top of his game Orton’s natural ability to make people dislike him is priceless.
The Viper revels in hatred. Orton was the man to take the heat, alongside Triple H, at last year’s Summerslam which saw the incredibly over Daniel Bryan’s championship dreams vanish within minutes. He’s been the piece of coal who has developed into a glistening diamond in Triple H’s eyes. The third generation star has learned all the tricks of the trade by being around the sport since childhood, a crucial factor in his development and deep knowledge of the business – and how to be a good bad guy.
Orton is a psychotic, twisted character who has the tendency to lose himself, but he can talk up his ability on the microphone and then back it up in the ring too. He’s WWE’s archetypal modern heel and a future Hall of Famer.
