For most people in the real world, a steel chair is merely just a means to sit down; nothing more, nothing less. However for WWE fans, a steel chair is much more than a chair, it’s an equalizer.
From the 1980′s to the modern era, steel chairs have been used in the business in a variety of different ways; across the back, smashed onto a limb, slammed against the throat and of course bashed against the head. In every case, it’s a very effective weapon and most of the time, it can get the job done.
Of course that’s in the world of WWE. Try using a steel chair on someone in everyday life and get locked up quick. That’s the single biggest disadvantage normal people have versus that of WWE Superstars. Basically, gratuitous violence is just not allowed in civilized society and when it happens, consequences and repercussions soon follow.
However in WWE, steel chairs are not frowned upon, they’re a way of life. Use one and you will not be arrested. If that were the case in reality, imagine how many problems you could solve in a short amount of time. Of course, if the guy staring down your chairshot is smart, he will throw a hand up; got to protect the head, brother.
