Forecasting The Future Of 10 WWE Stars In Their 40s

5. Triple H

Age: 45
There’s nobody on this list that has a brighter future than Triple H. As the on screen COO of WWE as well as the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and second in command to Vince McMahon on creative, he is basically going to be the corporate face of WWE for decades to come.
It’s no surprise that Vince has taken a step back on screen. Behind the scenes Vince is still active and he’s still representing the company when they talk to shareholders, but you can tell they’re in a transition phase. It’s Hunter as well as his wife Stephanie (the daughter of Vince) that are making the public appearances for the company the way that Vince used to do it.
As a wrestler he’s going to wrestle a few times per year. If you think he’s never wrestling again you’re crazy. Look at his father. Vince wrestled once in a while in his 50s and even in his 60s too. Vince is in great shape for his age, but Hunter will probably be in even better shape while obviously having a much more successful in-ring career.
His next match will probably be putting over Roman Reigns. Maybe it will be at Night of Champions. Maybe further down the road. Since he’s a featured performer on TV it makes sense that he wrestles once in a while although the days of Hunter in the WWE Title picture are over. That is, unless he decides otherwise. Who’s going to tell him no?
Whether you like him or not, it’s hard to deny the credibility that Hunter brings to the table. He’s a major piece of the puzzle for decades to come. No denying that.
