The Rock and The Undertaker are no strangers to one another, but they have never had a match at WrestleMania. Now that the streak has been broken, any bout The Undertaker has is going to be speculated as his retirement match. If The Undertaker does ever return, it likely would be to say his final farewell before being inducted into the Hall of Fame, which would probably happen the same year or the year following his retirement match.Rocky would be a great opponent to go out against because The Rock respects the business enough to do right by The Undertaker and give him the performance of a lifetime. The great thing about a match like this is that the storyline wouldn’t have to be very complicated for fans to buy into it. The Undertaker could come out and act like he was going to announce his retirement, only for The Rock to come out before he gets the chance. He would give his usual pep-talk and tell Taker that he can’t go out without facing The People’s Champion one more time.
The Rock is good enough to where he could make up for any physical limitations The Undertaker would have due to his various injuries, but if it was his final match, you would bet that Taker would pull out all the stops.
The Rock is bound to return eventually, but who he will face is always the biggest mystery. Who would you like to see go one on one with The Great One?
