2. Zack Ryder
Ryder’s Peak: In 2011, Ryder began receiving groundswell support from a loyal following of fans who loved his online show Z! True Long Island Story. They could tell that he had a passion for wrestling, and his following continued to grow. He started receiving more TV time, and captured the US Title at TLC 2011.
Where he is Now: Ryder rarely appears on TV these days. Before his recent tainted victory against Fandango, he hadn’t won a televised match since November! He’s sunk down to the bottom of the roster again, and is about as low as you can get.
Chance of a Comeback: 10%. Ryder just doesn’t have what Vince McMahon is looking for. He’s not great at cutting promos, he’s relatively average in his ring, and the one thing he had going for him, his loyal fan base, have largely left him. It’s probably more likely that he’ll be released from his contract than it is to ever see him hold another singles title.
