10 WWE Divas Who Wrestled The Men 10

10. The Kat

In December 1999, The Kat did the improbable by capturing the Women’s Championship. A petite blonde with no formal wrestling training, she was thrown into an Evening Gown match against accomplished competitors Ivory and Jacqueline and newcomer BB. That the match took place in a pool completely negated the experience advantage of her opponents, allowing her to score a huge upset win. Hardly the greatest champion in company history, she defended against Kane’s then-girlfriend Tori in a Pudding match and on January 31, was scheduled to defend in a Snow Bunny match. Clad in a white bra and matching panties, and sporting a pair of bunny ears atop her head, the champion was both smoking hot and incredibly adorable as she arrived for her defense.
Her opponent was a newcomer known simply as Hervina. While little was known about this competitor, it became abundantly clear that Hervina was not who she claimed to be. When she captured the title, she was exposed as Harvey Wippleman, former manager and longtime employee of WWE. For the first time in WWE history, a male had captured the Women’s Championship.
The booking decision nearly killed any legitimacy the title still had. Someone had decided that Wippleman capturing the gold was a good idea, someone who probably had no respect for the legacy of the championship whatsoever. The Kat would never again taste the glory of championship gold, though that was probably for the best.
As for Wipplemen… he would get what was coming to him soon enough.
