6. Randy Orton
Randy Orton had a good run as a babyface Superstar, enjoying a huge pop as fans embraced him not only for what he did but how he did it. The Viper was just crazy dangerous and he did it with style, backed by the full support of the WWE faithful and becoming arguably the top face at any given time during that last run. However, there’s nothing like going heel and Orton plays the part perfectly.
Randy is just very unlikable, from his constant smirk, to his over-riding ego, everything about him just screams “hate me.” His most recent run as a top heel came at the side of Triple H, who protected him as the new face of the company.
Orton’s reputation as a crybaby and a pampered diva was brought to light in this storyline and while fans know it’s all part of the angle, it is also deeply rooted in truth. Of course that truth comes from very opinionated fans that somehow manage to label guys without ever having met them, but inevitably once the reputation has been decided, there is very little anyone can do to change it. Orton is the spoiled brat because that is what he is perceived to be.
