5 reasons why John Cena will always be a bigger WWE star than Brock Lesnar

#1 Lesnar ditched Wrestling

Being so high on Lesnar, the company invested a lot in the superstar in the four years he spent in his initial run. From his development to the main event run, Lesnar had all the luxuries and all of a sudden, one day he had the idea of ditching the business that gave him everything.
Lesnar wanted to try his hand in football and demanded to be released by the company. His wish was fulfilled but he went on to fail in the sport and ended up with New Japan Pro Wrestling, thus violating his no compete clause with the WWE.
Cena has had a plethora of opportunities to leave the professional wrestling business throughout his career but chose to stick around because it is what he wanted, what he loved.
This was the love that Lesnar didn’t have when he left for bigger ventures, leaving the company that did everything for him. Cena might be one of the most hated names now but no one can argue about what he did for the company and the fans while Lesnar was busy living his selfish dreams.
