There was a long time where it seemed like Stone Cold returning to the ring seemed impossible, but Steve Austin has stated on his podcast that if the opportunity were right for everyone involved, he would be open to having one more big match.
Austin is one of those legends that everyone loves. He’s just so good at communicating with the crowd that you can’t help but cheer for him. Even as a heel, he was getting people to chant his catchphrases and taunt his opponents with “What” between every sentence. The biggest question surrounding a Stone Cold return would be who he would face. It makes sense to put him in the ring with someone who is as big of a star as he is, but that is a very short list.

Returning to face an old rival like The Rock would be epic, but seeing Austin lock up with one of the newer stars in the company would be even better. Just think about the storyline possibilities of a feud with Bray Wyatt and try not to get excited.
