2. No Swing For You!
It’s been rumored that Cesaro has been told to stop swinging his opponents in an entertaining fashion by management. Well that’s just rude. Cesaro came up with something that made the crowd go crazy, and WWE axes it. How is anyone in that company supposed to get over unless they are Vince McMahon’s personal choice? Daniel Bryan only reached main event level by complete luck (fans rejected Batista, Punk quit and the Daniel Wyatt story was an embarassing failure), and other mid-card wrestlers just aren’t given much of a chance.
We officially found out this week that Cesaro is no longer a Paul Heyman guy. The sad part is he didn’t have a reason for the split, and neither did Paul. Their breakup was an afterthought. WWE gave up on Cesaro for the time being, which is only going to make it that much more difficult for him to get over if management ever tries again. Much like Zack Ryder learned, Cesaro isn’t WWE’s choice to become a star. Therefore, he must stop being entertaining and suffer the consequences.
It may be the beginning of the “Roman Empire”, but couldn’t the Cesaro Swing have some tiny place to live there too?
