10. The Miz
Much like Punk, The Miz has real life heat with many of the WWE faithful. However this heat has nothing to do with Miz leaving, and in fact, some fans would love nothing more than to see him gone permanently.
There is something about Miz that fans just absolutely hate and it doesn’t matter if he’s a heel or babyface; the former reality star is loathed for everything he does. He just cannot seem to find a way to connect with the majority of WWE’s audience and it does not appear to be changing anytime soon.
The good news for Miz is that he has turned heel once again so now the tremendous dislike surrounding him can be put to good use: the fans can berate him, they can boo him, they can do everything they do in order to put him over as an antagonist in the company, and it will only help his cause.
The truth is that Miz is good at getting heat. He is a very viable villain; a guy that can stand in front of the crowd and genuinely make them despise him. Of course, many of them are focused on the man, not the character, but it’s all the same to him. All that matters is that The Miz gets where he needs to be and the only way to do that is to get over as much as he can.
The Miz is actually in a good spot right now as WWE is in desperate need of some quality heels. With Cesaro and Bray Wyatt getting cheered and Bad News Barrett out with injury, this may be the perfect time for Miz to make an impact in his latest run. While he is still believed by some to not be a Superstar that can sustain a lengthy program and stay over, the fact is that today is a new day. Perhaps this time around, Miz can be the heel that WWE needs him to be and fans will finally respect him for his efforts. That would be awesome indeed.
