10 Most Hated WWE Superstars Right Now 8

8. The Great Khali

Khali is his name, being great is clearly not his game.
The rhyme may be a bit much but some would argue the same about Khali’s career. At first sight, The Punjabi Nightmare should have been a huge attraction: standing at seven feet tall and tipping the scale at nearly 350 lbs, he has an immediate presence both in and out of the ring. Fans are irresistibly drawn to him, as he is usually the biggest thing in the building at the time, looking mean and dangerous and generally like he definitely shouldn’t be messed with.
However more often than not, Khali is just sort of there. Though he has been booked as a dominant big man in the past, his inability to physically move in the ring has greatly hindered his career and how fans perceive him. His association with the company is apparently only because of his international appeal, because it simply cannot be down to potential or ability, though to WWE’s credit, the effort was made to get him over as a gentle, dancing giant and that character did work in some ways, at least in the short term.
Unfortunately, transforming the vicious but immobile monster into an immobile dancing machine just fell flat in the end, as fans grew tired of seeing him and at this point, they just want him to go away. Despite what Khali does or how he does it, he will likely never truly get over because fans made their decision about him a long time ago.
